About VIKRAMSHILA HEALTH AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION COUNCIL (V.H.T.E.C.)

The Vikramshila Health and Technical Education Council (V.H.T.E.C.) is an autonomous body focused on providing education and skill development in fields like health, technical, and vocational education. It was founded by Dr. Mithilesh Prasad Singh and is inspired by the ancient Vikramshila University, which was established by Emperor Dharmapala in the 8th century. V.H.T.E.C. is managed by the Sristi Welfare Foundation and aims to offer training in various domains, including healthcare, paramedical sciences, vocational training, and more.

The council's mission is to empower students with practical skills through various academies, such as Naturopathy and Yoga, Biomedical Technology, and Fashion Design, among others. It operates under the certification of several governmental bodies like the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and NITI Aayog, and it is ISO 9001:2015 certified.
